At the Event department of Protection UNIT, the summer season and its many events are off to a flying start! We’ll be present at the WEC (World Endurance Championship) in Spa-Francorchamps on May 8, 9, and 10, with around one hundred agents and one hundred stewards deployed for this increasingly successful event. This gathering of prototype and performance enthusiasts marks the first major challenge of the season at this world-unique venue, where we’ve had the privilege of ensuring safety for many years.
At the same time, on May 10 in Ciney, we’ll be at Ciney Expo for the birthday party of DJ Furax. The producer and DJ has been making techno fans dance for three decades, and for this very special night, many guest performers are expected. To ensure everything runs smoothly, 10 Protection UNIT agents will be deployed.
From May 9 to 10, Protection UNIT is also called upon to secure a very different type of high-attendance event — the doTERRA expo at Brussels Expo.
This expo, entirely dedicated to essential oils and well-being, promises visitors a truly sensory experience. Sixty of our personnel will ensure that the atmosphere — from welcoming visitors to dismantling the event — remains zen at all times!
Still in Brussels, we’ll be at Anderlecht Stadium, true to tradition, for the Brussels derby against Union Saint-Gilloise. Thirty of our experienced agents will be present at Lotto Park for this event, scheduled for May 10.
Finally, in Liège, the city’s tram system is finally being launched. To celebrate, the “Cité ardente” and TEC have decided to bring 12 tram stations to life on Saturday, May 10, with street art, dance, exhibitions, mini-concerts, and more. This festive event will take place under the watchful and caring eyes of 25 of our agents. And the city will be especially musical this weekend, as the “Jazz à Liège” festival is also scheduled for May 8, 9, and 10 — with a top-notch international lineup and 10 of our agents on-site to ensure everything goes smoothly.
