Of the 13 European schools in 6 countries, Belgium is home to almost half of them, all based in Brussels except one, which is in Flanders. We are delighted to announce that our contract to provide round-the-clock security for people and property in these six institutions has just been renewed!
These schools are primarily intended for the children of the staff of the European institutions, who receive a multicultural and multilingual education, following a set curriculum and leading to a European Baccalaureate diploma. These official educational establishments, jointly controlled by the governments of the Member States of the European Union, also include the children of NATO officials and UN civil servants. These institutions need to be well guarded to avoid any threats, which is why the six European schools in Belgium have placed their trust in Protection UNIT.
Our UNIT Protection agents carry out static, mobile and access control missions at these sites in Brussels I (Uccle + Berkendael), Brussels II (Woluwe + Evere), Brussels III (Ixelles), Brussels IV (Laeken), and Mol (Flanders). During the day, the job involves ensuring that everything runs smoothly with the students, managing entrances and exits from the various sites, and guarding property and buildings. At night, this mainly involves anti-intrusion checks and site surveillance. Several dozen agents are mobilised to carry out this extremely important surveillance.
“Every time we renew a contract, it’s a source of great satisfaction, because it’s the best possible recognition from our customers”, says our founder, Samuel Di Giovanni. “Thank you to our customers, and thank you to all our agents who are committed to these missions with a focus on quality, flexibility and availability”. And good luck to all these young students!
